The Forest Begins Beneath Your Feet
The cloud forest clings to steep Andean slopes where gravity is always working against it. Unpaved roads, foot trails, and exposed hillsides erode quickly — threatening homes, farmland, and forest alike. Our erosion and infrastructure program aims to design and build nature-based solutions: retaining structures, vegetated slope stabilization, and restored trail systems that reduce runoff and hold the land in place. We work alongside the communities that depend on these slopes, combining local knowledge with ecological engineering to protect both people and forest.
